Episode transcript
Dustin: [00:00:00] There is a lot of value in some one-on-one support, and so every member, when they sign up, they basically place a deposit and we place them into the right cohort and then they are allowed at that point to schedule a one-on-one call with me at any point. But that typically is gonna happen
sometime between committing and the actual kickoff date, and I have a one-on one call with every member.
Dustin: It's extremely useful and valuable and you know it's customized to their needs.
Intro: You are listening to the seven-Figure Leap podcast. We're here to leverage rich relationships and smart strategies to take your business to the next level. Here's your host, Dustin Reman. What's it
Dustin: really look like behind the scenes of a flagship group coaching program? Well, I'm excited today 'cause I'm gonna open the curtain and take you behind the scenes of our signature program, the Podcast Profits [00:01:00] Accelerator, which we lovingly call the PPA in our community.
Dustin: And so the PPA has existed actually since 2022, but what I wanna really focus on today is changes we've made. This year in 2025. so. Over the course of its life, the podcast Profits Accelerator has had 18 sold out cohorts that we've delivered, 100% satisfaction rate, which is something I'm extremely proud of.
Dustin: And the early days actually looked quite a bit different than the current version of the program. I'm happy to, point you to some past episodes where I talk about how we created it and what those first few cohorts look like, but what I wanna focus on today. Is, what's it like now and what are some of the major changes we've made this year, to really make this a world class experience?
Dustin: as I said, a hundred percent satisfaction rate. We've had, roughly 230 PPA alumni, at this point. So a lot of activity, but we'd already been doing it for a couple [00:02:00] years. So what did we change this year? I'm gonna focus on three main areas, curriculum. Environment or community and support. And the reason I wanna share this with you is first and foremost, so you can hopefully have an appreciation for what this actually looks like.
Dustin: one of the top things that I get asked a lot, and I did a recent podcast episode about how to create a group coaching program, but I get asked a lot, like, how do you. Sell a high ticket group coaching program, because it's a whole different thing to sell a hundred dollars course or, a $500 sort of flagship course.
Dustin: But we're talking about a program in our case that is $10,000, or a thousand dollars a month over the course of 12 months. And I'll talk a little bit about kind of the evolution and how we arrived at that pricing and the ROI guarantee that we offer to, to back that up. But if you're going to deliver.
Dustin: Something of that value. Like, what does it actually take [00:03:00] and what are some of the upgrades that we've made this year, in response to things that we've learned over the course of doing this for a very long time in, in internet years at this point? So, first and foremost, curriculum. So it's a 90 day program at its core.
Dustin: So we work with, to 12 to 15 entrepreneurs from all different types of industries. They're all mission driven, they're all looking to have a big impact, and they're all looking to add the next six figures. Of profit to their business using podcast guessing. So our core promise is just that it's a 90 day program using podcast, guessing to grow your business.
Dustin: So 90 days is 12 weeks. So the way that program is structured internally is it's 12 individual weeks. we have a core. Meeting each week, what we've now call workshop Wednesdays, and I'll talk a little bit about that next. and then we have a office hours on Monday, so there's really two opportunities a week, but one of those is the core curriculum over the course of 12 weeks, each of those [00:04:00] 12 weeks.
Dustin: Has a very specific outcome, a very specific deliverable or asset that gets created and a very specific action that each member, will take, in order to move on to the next week. Something we added this year, is a personalized schedule. So when someone joins, they get their own personalized schedule.
Dustin: They know exactly how to prepare for each section. the videos that are covered in each section, what they need to, create, in order to sort of graduate to the next step. And that's been really valuable in just providing maximum clarity
to every member. The other major thing we did this year is we flipped the classroom.
Dustin: so traditionally what we had done is I would come on each week and I would teach the core lessons, right? There were supplemental videos in the members area, but ultimately you showed up and I taught you, and then we would do q and a. And it was effective, right? Like it worked. But what I found is.
Dustin: we spent a lot of time, [00:05:00] live time, that's very valuable learning things that you could easily learn in a video. And I didn't want it to be a course. Right. this is a very different experience than just like going and watching videos on your own. So we found what I think is the perfect hybrid solution, and we call it the flipped classroom.
Dustin: this is just an, educational, structure that we've adopted. So basically every week you know exactly what the topic is. Let's say it's writing, the outreach to get on the podcast that we've identified for you that will be profitable to grow your business. There's an eight to 10 minute video and we ask you to watch that in advance of your Wednesday call so that you can come fully prepared so that our live time is spent interacting with people in your cohort.
Dustin: I'll do a quick teaching, like a sort of a recap version of the teaching, and then we're able to do workshop time and have q and a and hot seat time. So in one hour we're able to get so much done. I think this is like the most efficient, program I've ever experienced either giving [00:06:00] or receiving. And so that's been really critical.
Dustin: So this idea of live workshop time on every single Wednesday call is actually new this year, and it's been one of the things that our members have raved about. Because no matter what's going on in life, no matter what's going on in the business, if they can show up and be there for that call and be present.
Dustin: They will build an asset for their business. They can work on the business on something very strategic and something extremely valuable. And they have me there and they have their other cohort members there, and they have their coaching support so that if they get stuck, if they have questions, it's all happening within the same.
Dustin: Hour, right? And so by the end of the hour they may still have some homework. They may still have some refinements to do, before the following week, but they're able to get stuff done. And I think that has been absolutely phenomenal this year. So curriculum hasn't changed a lot in the sense of what we're covering, but how we deliver it has changed pretty substantially.
Dustin: And I think that has been a major upgrade to the program. So that was [00:07:00] curriculum in a nutshell environment. So I think this is, probably where we shine the brightest. originally the PPA was delivered in cohorts and you were with your cohort and that was powerful. But that was sort of the extent of the environment, right?
Dustin: You showed up on a Zoom call with your, 11 other people on the call, and I was there and we did the thing that I talked about earlier. So not only did we make the calls more effective in the way that we deliver them and the curriculum and the way that it's structured, but now this exists with within a much more valuable ecosystem, right?
Dustin: So now we have a circle community that is the home base for the program and for your cohort. But it's also filled with over 200 alumni. So you have all these people who do podcast guesting, some of them host podcasts. They all think in terms of collaboration and partnerships. And so it's this really rich environment that from day one you're in and.
Dustin: I mean, I think that's honestly our biggest business asset right now. And it's the thing [00:08:00] that keeps us AI proof. knowledge transfer is one thing, and I think we've become really good at that. But the experience, the environment and the network that you get access to is really second to none. And so.
Dustin: Building this inside of a robust circle community that houses not only the material and the cohort and the community around the PPA itself, but is within this larger ecosystem of alumni, is extremely valuable. also within that same community are our mastermind members. And so they're really able to be mentors to all of the people active in a given PPA cohort.
Dustin: So that's been amazing. The networking opportunities are absolutely phenomenal. And so you get feedback not only from me and from our coaches, but you get feedback from lots of other people. and of course many shortcuts, introductions, referrals,it's just a really amazing, experience that we've created in the environment that we now deliver the program.
Dustin: I'd say the other thing about. The environment is the first and last calls [00:09:00] in particular. So we, again, we have these 12 weeks. We really have. Made some modifications so that every call is useful and, impactful and efficient. But the first call and the last call are really experiences. So our very first call is our kickoff experience.
Dustin: So this is where you meet the cohort. You get to introduce yourself. We give you some pre-framing so that you can start to get some results in advance and be able to like introduce yourself clearly and talk about. using StoryBrand frameworks, your core message, that's like how we start the experience.
Dustin: We ask people some really introspective questions about like, how they found seven figure leap, how they heard about me. And it starts to create this, foundational belief that collaboration is important. You can plant seeds, They, it's sort of a meta moment of like, oh wait, all the stuff that you're gonna teach us, that's why I'm here.
Dustin: Like it works because that's how I'm here. That's how I grew in awareness. So we create a real experience about that. We bring an alumni [00:10:00] to that initial call and we set very clear expectations about how to show up. How to maximize value. And so that everyone, even if they, didn't prepare, a lot in advance, they come out of that first call, very united, very connected, to their cohort, to our team, and they're just ready to hit the ground, absolutely running, and we're getting results on the very first call at the tail end of the program.
Dustin: At the end of 12 weeks, we still have teaching and we're still delivering value. But we really create a capstone experience, right? it's sort of a mini graduation experience, and so. It is a great place to reflect, tangibly, see the progress you made, celebrate the wins that have happened, and, kind of enter the next phase of what it means to be an alumni of the PPA.
Dustin: Because we don't end at 90 days. It's really like the next chapter into this larger community that we've created. 'cause now you're an alumni, not just a member. Right. And that's really important. So I think that environment is really. Key. one of the things we do [00:11:00] on every Wednesday call to kick it off is we go around and everyone celebrates a win of the week.
Dustin: And this could be personal, it could be a business win, and it just creates a real environment of abundance, expectancy, gratitude, and then in our community, which again, not only includes your cohort, but all the other alumni. The winds of the week are, I'm sorry, the winds channel and circle is our most active channel.
Dustin: So again, you get foreshadowing, you get to see what other people are up to. It's an amazing way to grow your network and connect with a lot of amazing people. it's just part of that environment. we allow, or encourage
people to connect with, of course, the people in their cohort in a deep way. but we also facilitate one-on-one connections with.
Dustin: Other members of the community, and we do networking events and we do like lots of cool stuff. So that you feel the power of being part of a cohesive, business family really in a sense like a community that really drives momentum well beyond. [00:12:00] The curriculum itself and the assets that we're building.
Dustin: So all of these things are happening concurrently with the way this is designed is extremely powerful. So the curriculum is of course, paramount and important in how we deliver that, the environment. I think it's hard to even put into words just how powerful it is, to be in this environment, in this community.
Dustin: And the final thing I want to touch on is support. So support of course, comes in many forms and fashions. The community itself has, has a large degree, of support built into it. But we've made some major changes again this year. So, one of the things we've added is pre-training. So we have the 12 weeks of the accelerator, right?
Dustin: But what's happened now as the demand for our program has increased is almost everyone joins at least 30 days in advance of the kickoff. And we have people joining 90 days plus in advance. Which is great, but it also creates a, an interesting dynamic. 'cause if you're excited and you wanna join,we sell [00:13:00] out, right?
Dustin: So you may join 60 days, let's say in advance of your kickoff date. And we don't want you languishing, we want you, getting value. Well in advance of the actual kickoff experience for your cohort. And so we have pre-training. And this pre-training is optional, but extremely, valuable and encouraged.
Dustin: And so it's some asynchronous training you can do before we actually do the kickoff and it centers around StoryBrand and messaging because these are things that are. very valuable, to work on even before we start the podcast.
Guesting program itself in the PPA. so the pre-training has been an amazing addition.
Dustin: we also open up some of the, early parts of the program itself for the, the really ambitious people who wanna jump in and start working ahead. We totally encourage that, and we kind of throttle it back and make sure the cohort, Once we start proceeds at the same pace. 'cause we found that is really important for cohesion.
Dustin: and this idea that you're part of a larger movement and larger momentum. The other thing that happens [00:14:00] typically before the kickoff call is I do a full hour one-on-one deep dive strategy call with every single member. we are a group program and I think groups are superior. I think group coaching when it's done right is.
Dustin: Way better and. Drives way faster results than one-on-one coaching. And I think there is a lot of value in some one-on-one support. And so every member, when they sign up, they basically, place a deposit and we place them into the right cohort. And then they are allowed at that point to schedule a one on-one call with me at any point.
Dustin: But that typically is gonna happen sometime between, committing and the actual kickoff date. And so. I have a one-on-one call with every member. It's extremely useful and valuable and you know it's customized to their needs, but many times we can refine their offer, their messaging, their signature framework.
Dustin: We can provide a ton of value on that one call That leads with a lot of momentum into the [00:15:00] accelerator. And, many times people are able actually to increase their sales to the point that they can pay for the program even before the program starts, which of course creates a ton of momentum and goodwill.
Dustin: So that one hour strategy call is, something we've done and not done at different times, but now we are committed that, like, that is a key part of this experience. The other thing that we've added this year is a mid cohort, one-on one call. And so, I'll introduce Tony here in a second, who's one of our, one of our key alumni coaches.
Dustin: And so now about halfway through the program, we build in a bit of a catch your breath, period in the program because, we're building a lot of stuff and making really fast progress during that time. We encourage people to have a one-on-one, coaching call with Tony who's. He's an alumni from the very first cohort.
Dustin: He's been helping me co-lead these for boy, 18 months at this point. He's in our mastermind. He's just a super smart guy, and so now people get one on-one support. Halfway through the [00:16:00] program, which is often a point where they're looking to reinvigorate themselves, recalibrate. A lot of times people get a lot more clarity on their target market or their offer, through that first, part of the program.
Dustin: And so it's just a really good time to have a one-on-one strategy call with a different perspective, with Tony there. So that's been amazing. The other thing we've done this year, we've added a lot to support, as you can tell, is we now have two alumni coaches who are part of the seven figure Leap team.
Dustin: So Tony De Lorenzo, who I've mentioned already, he leads our Wednesday calls, which is again our main call. I'm also on all of those calls, but Tony is the lead facilitator there. And so that gives us, additional coaching support for the cohort members. he brings just a unique perspective because he is got, a different business model than me and really deep experience in some areas that I'm less experienced.
Dustin: And so we make a really, great dynamic duo in leading the cohorts in that way. This year, Jessica Miller has joined [00:17:00] the team. She's also an alumni. I think she was in the third cohort of PPA. She's also in the Mastermind, and she also has a different expertise than I do. She's just a master at people's offers and hell yes, offers as, as she has coined.
Dustin: And so Jessica. Leads are Monday calls, which is our office hours calls. So now you have me on every call, but you also have Tony leading one of the calls and Jessica leading another call, which is great for things like redundancy. if I, have to be out or one of them has to be out, we always have a live call, with a expert coach.
Dustin: But it also just provides this breadth of knowledge and experience, that I could never provide on my own. So I'm really proud of the coaching support that we've added this year. the other thing that we've done since, since the turn of the calendar, it's hard to believe, is we've now got a full-time client success manager.
Dustin: So Tiffany is a full-time member of our team, and she is responsible for client success. So she manages the onboarding process. She's in close contact [00:18:00] with each member. Each member, she's got a pulse on our circle community, and she's just. Just an amazing operational resource for people. And so no one ever has to have a support question.
Dustin: They always know Tiffany's, in their corner and she's part of that kickoff experience. And so it's been amazing to have someone fully focused on client success. outside of the coaching expertise, like just purely there is an operational support person, who is, always available. No one has never has to have a question about.
Dustin: Where to get help or find a resource or deal with a, credit card update or any of that kinda logistical stuff. So having a full-time client success manager has been amazing as well. the final thing I'll say on support is we've added. A full year of support to the core program. Okay, so it's a 90 day cohort, so you come in for 90 days.
Dustin: All the things I've talked about, like we are building a podcast guesting system that is gonna generate six [00:19:00] figures plus in new revenue for your business in the ensuing year. That is still the core promise. That's been the core promise of this program since its inception. But what we found is. There's so much value in this community and there's so much to do in growing your business beyond the first 90 days and really beyond podcast guesting itself.
Dustin: And so what we've, done this year is we've expanded things to, with one purchase, you get the 90 day cohort experience, and for a full year. You're in this community. And so all the alumni, all the mastermind members, that's the only people in this community are alumni. So it's a very high trust, environment.
Dustin: It's the best of the best people in my network. Of course, I'm extremely active in the community, and so it's the people first and foremost in that community that make it so valuable. We also do live coaching, so. Every week I'm available for live coaching to all the community members. we do monthly workshops, which are led by our mastermind members on things [00:20:00] beyond marketing, right?
Dustin: We certainly have marketing, lead generation sales, branding, social media. We have those types of topics, but we do things like mindset, financial management, identity work. we just did one on vision and stewardship to kind of cap out the year, and so that's all. Included, right. we do community events to help people network, so we do quarterly networking events with the whole community.
Dustin: We have a one-on-one connections program. You can, you don't have to opt into it, but when you do every month, we're pairing you with another member of this extremely valuable community to have a one-on-one connection call. and again, the mastermind that I lead is built into the community as well. And so those mastermind members are a very active part of the community.
Dustin: and they are there to be expert resources and connectors and, Just grow the massive pie that we've created in relational capital and sort of network access. So we don't make guarantees around referrals because that's tough to
[00:21:00] do it. It's a slippery slope in some cases, but, I can say in full confidence.
Dustin: Everyone that comes into our community has the opportunity to have business referrals, podcast referrals, and just access to some of the world's best experts on all things entrepreneurship. And that's all inside of this alumni community. And what's cool for me as the founder of this and the curator of it, is each new cohort brings.
Dustin: Not just like clients for the cohort, but now they're a part of this community and the pie grows even larger and the network grows even larger and the opportunity grows larger for them and everyone who's already in it, right? so I think that, that's what I'm so proud of is this environment, this community that we've built and now we've supplemented it with so much additional support, world class curriculum.
Dustin: The way we're delivering is so efficient that you don't have to live in the community. You can show up to one one hour call a week. Get the promise of the program, but you're able to and encouraged to, connect and [00:22:00] spend more time because there's so much more value, to be had. So that is sort of a quick recap of the changes.
Dustin: In 2025, we've updated how we deliver our curriculum in a big way. we have. Really upgraded the environment by which people receive the curriculum, right? This community aspect, the experiences we provide as part of that. and then, you heard me talk a lot about the level of support we've invested in.
Dustin: So we have two alumni coaches who are always available for our folks and leading calls with me. We got a full-time client success manager. We've got this very robust community experience that. Is part of the 90 day cohort and extends another nine months. And of course people are able to renew and stay much longer.
Dustin: and, we want people to stay around, for a very long time. But that first full year is included, all with one decision. All, all with one choice to join the podcast Profits accelerator. So what's that look like? What, like what has this resulted in? Well. We've been sold out every single cohort.
Dustin: [00:23:00] we have a hundred percent satisfaction rate. We have a very high referral rate. So alumni tell their colleagues and their clients like, you gotta come experience this. This is gonna really be a game changer and an inflection point for your business. So we get a lot of great referrals. Which is amazing.
Dustin: We've collected well over 100 testimonials at this point from clients. and, ultimately we're able to justify premium pricing. So as I started to, or as I started with at the outset. This is not a cheap program. It's not a cheap experience, It's a $10,000 program for people that want to pay in full.
Dustin: And then we have payment plans. So it is also accessible because a thousand dollars a month over the course of the year gets you access to the same thing as paying up front, which is amazing. And it makes sense because we have a full year of live coaching support and community and networking and all the things that I already described.
Dustin: one thing we don't talk a lot about. But is, really relevant to this discussion is we also have a very [00:24:00] robust. ROI guarantee. So when someone comes into this, first and foremost, they have to have a call with us to make sure they're a good fit for the cohort that they're gonna be in, that they're a good fit for the community.
Dustin: 'cause as you can tell, the community experience is so integral into this. And of course, we wanna make sure we're an ideal fit for them. The goals they have and,the metrics they're really trying to improve in their business. so assuming that is a match, we invite them in and we guarantee that each of our members will generate $10,000 in new revenue in the first 90 days.
Dustin: So that's a big promise, right? But you've heard all that. We have created and invested in making sure that happens. And it happens through podcast guesting, of course, first and foremost. But it also happens through the community, the network, the clarity people get the improvements in their offer.
Dustin: Many people launch group coaching programs, coming right out of the gate with the experience that we provide. There's many ways that we're able to [00:25:00] influence this, but we are able to provide a very robust guarantee because we have a hundred percent confidence, in what we've created. So.
Dustin: I hope you take this as an encouragement. I would imagine if you're listening to this, you probably don't have a program that is quite at this level, right? but I wanted to give you the real scoop on what it is like inside of a program like this, a world class signature flagship group coaching program.
Dustin: There's a reason this is like the only thing we sell, because. If I start to sell a bunch of other things, it will dilute our focus. We are committed to providing the best group coaching experience in the world for, mission-driven entrepreneurs who want to sell through story and want to use, obviously,
podcast guesting and other forms of advanced partnership that we cover in the PPA as the mechanism by which they in increase their impact in the world, and of course increase their income as a result.
Dustin: So, [00:26:00] We didn't start here. If you're listening to this, you're like, oh my gosh, I like, I'll never be able to create something like that. again, there are other places you can, hear more about it, but I'll just say as a closing thought. When we first started, we did Zoom calls and we had a Slack channel, a free Slack channel that was just for that cohort.
Dustin: And at day 90 we're like, this has been awesome. We'll see you guys later. And then the next cohort would start. And there was no community, there was no real asynchronous support. there was no team. It was just me on Zoom calls and the Slack channel. and our first cohort was $7,500. And, we pretty quickly increased it to the current pricing.
Dustin: It worked and people were very happy and we delivered. But you know, since then we've evolved so much. We added the ROI guarantee we've got. Just an amazing ecosystem support system, a team, a community. There's so much value now wrapped up in what we do. And that was a process over 18 cohorts. I wanna make sure you hear that right.
Dustin: we're currently, almost sold out on cohort 19 and we're filling seats in [00:27:00] 20 and number 20, so. 20 cohorts of experience has allowed us to refine this, make it as efficient as possible, and make it as useful as possible to our clients. And I'm, I'm a humble guy, but I'm pretty proud of this.
Dustin: Like this is, this is definitely world class and, I think, I hope it's something that you can hear and aspire to, if you're wanting to provide a world class group coaching program and experience for your people. and of course, if you're listening to this. You want to grow your business, and this sounds like something that is intriguing to you.
Dustin: The, the promise here makes sense for where you're at with your business. Like we would love to have you consider the Podcast Profits Accelerator. we'd love to have a conversation with you and then make sure it is truly a two-way fit. one of the cool things about an ROI guarantee is, not only is it obviously a great way to reverse risk and let people know that they can come into this with confidence, but it's a really good forcing function for us to [00:28:00] always, select the right client because my money is with where my mouth is, right?
Dustin: Like, we're not just gonna let anyone in here, for one because we, we want to keep the client or the, client experience in the community. world class, but two, we're going to deliver the result whenever we accept someone into this program. So if you're interested in learning more, you can just go to seven figure leap.com.
Dustin: Slash call like CALL and it'll take you to a page. You can hear from some of our alumni, answer a few questions. It'll allow you to book a call with us, and there's certainly no obligation on that call to do anything except learn more about how this works, if it's a good fit for you, when we have availability, and all those sort of things.
Dustin: So I would love for you to go check it out, seven figure leap.com/call. And, Learn more about this program, and I'd love to welcome you in and have you experienced this and be part of this growing network of amazing entrepreneurs that we get to serve as part of the PPA. So that's all for today. [00:29:00] I hope that this has been a useful behind the scenes look at a world class group coaching experience and, if you have questions or if you wanna share more about what you're doing and even, new best practices, we're always evolving.
Dustin: We're always making this the best it can possibly be. So feel free to reach out and let me know about that. Otherwise, hopefully we'll see you on informational Call soon@sevenfigureleap.com slash call.
